Cumberland Rubber Supply ballistic panels are ideal for a wide range of benefits. These ballistic range panels and tiles are designed to provide a safe live fire environment by controlling bullets on contact, stopping ricochet, and self-healing after impact. The vulcanized rubber panels are designed for military, law enforcement, and private range use.
Cumberland Rubber Supply ballistic panels and tiles can be made with CRS-FIT options. CRS-FIT Technology is a ballistic rubber panel with a 1" x 1" inset around the perimeter. (Creating seamless overlapping edges) Our ballistic rubber contains built-in fire resistant formula along with UV protection. As a result, this vulcanized rubber can do it all.

• We manufacture our ballistic rubber panels from vulcanized rubber to create a safe live fire environment by preventing accidents. Our rubber is designed to control bullets on contact, stop ricochet, encapsulate rounds, and self-heal after impact.
• Our ballistic blocks have superior strength, elasticity, and durability, with a tensile strength of 950-1150 psi Ultimate elongation: 210-300%, 100% modulus: 350-400psi, coefficient of friction: 1.2-1.25 static. UV exposure, ATSM D 925-88(00) 72 has ten inches below 275W RS UV bulb: tensile strength 5.9 % change, elongation 6.7% change.
• Our rubber ballistic blocks support a built-in fire retardant formula with UV protection to keep a safe long lasting product during live training. Workout facilities have found our durable rubber blocks useful for bench, carrying, throwing, and agility workouts.

Panel Density
Our ballistic panels are denser than other panels on the market. Density means longer-lasting and better built.
Our 1.5" x 2' x 2' Panel weighs (36 lbs) in comparison to our competitions 2" x 2' x 2' panel weighing (34 lbs).
1.5" of CRS rubber is much denser than 2" of the competition's material.
Flame retardent formula
This product has a built-in flame retardant formula that is built into the product. (Unlike other products on the market that have a topical solution) We can send out a UL Report upon request. We can also provide custom parts that also meet the ASTM-E84 Class A requirement.
Incidental tracer rounds
Regarding tracer rounds, we know some range companies talk about "tracer rounds" as a scare tactic/ marketing gimmick to get you to purchase a full ballistic containment system package.
The truth is, it would not be advised to allow tracer rounds on your range in any circumstance. (even with flame retardant rubber) Tracer rounds are usually used for military and only needed in military drills.
In the event that someone accidentally shoots a tracer round, it will likely be extinguished. However, we would never advise firing tracer rounds into the rubber on purpose.
